Greenbanks, Reading

Greenbank is a listed building, a disused office situated on the London Road frontage to the University of Reading. This building has been left vacant for a number of years awaiting a full conversion and upgrade.

Modus was employed to carry out phase 1 of this project which included an extensive external refurbishment to this listed building including:

• Replacement of the roof finish, using natural slates and traditional lead flashing detailing to satisfy Local Authority conservation officers and full refurbishment
• Overhaul and decoration of external joinery including sash windows
• Glazed timber entrance porch and high level detailing
• Installation of new rainwater goods to be sympathetic to those removed which were badly corroded and beyond repair.
