Dolche Vita Café, Reading University

Reading University appointed Modus to strip out an existing Dolche Vita coffee shop within their Whiteknights campus and refit with a new layout.

The redesign included more counter areas with a more logical layout for customers to flow, offering a more efficient use of space and clear traffic routes. Works included; new – lighting, floor finishes, counter and ancillary equipment, display cold storage and mechanical and electrical services.

The project relied on a very strict programme as the facility was taken out of use, therefore a potential loss of revenue. Zero snagging was achieved to ensure the café could open on time.
